Trebbe Johnson is the author of The World Is a Waiting Lover: Desire and the Quest for the Beloved and the director of Vision Arrow. A lifelong adventurer in inner and outer worlds, she has camped alone in the Arctic; studied classical Indian dance; worked as a life drawing model, award-winning multimedia producer, and translator; and explored myth, nature, and spirit through her writing in several genres. She lives with her husband in rural northeastern Pennsylvania.
Rucina Ballinger and A. Agung Gede Putra Rangki lead spiritual and cultural journeys in Bali. Rucina is an American-born dancer who has lived in Bali for more than thirty years. She runs a small charitable organization in Ubud and is a founding member of Grup Gedebong Goyang, a comedic singing group composed of ex-pat women. Her husband, A. Agung Gede Putra Rangki, born to a Balinese royal family, is a teacher of the Indonesian language and an expert in the arts, botany, architecture, and culture of his homeland. www.balispirit.com
Noah Crowe, producer and director of Children of Gravity: A Wilderness Rites of Passage Documentary (currently in production), is a conceptual sculptor whose work engages the dialogue between the sacred and profane worlds with contemporary media. Larry Hobbs has been involved in marine mammal research and teaching natural history for more than 25 years, from studying whales and dolphins as a field biologist, to working with individual and family systems as a psychotherapist, to leading wildlife trips worldwide. He is deeply involved with teaching teachers and hosting workshops focused on creative, systemic solutions to difficult environmental issues, and he received a 2008 Horace Mann Award, presented to individuals who have won victories for humanity for their work or volunteerism.
Eugene Hughes was born in Ireland and after finishing his academic studies in Philosophy and Art moved to London 18 years ago. He has trained in creative thinking and group facilitation and now leads a coaching practice that helps organizations be driven by values and guided by vision. Eugene also lectures on inspirational leadership and writes poetry. Now home, London is the base for his work across Europe, Asia and the US.
Nyoman “Mangkok” Sutarya is an artist, farmer, and licensed Balinese guide. In his village of Munduk, where his family has lived for more than four hundred years, he works with village elders to catalogue indigenous plants, experiments with ways in which traditional Balinese arts can respond to current social and environmental concerns, and studies Balinese Hinduism. He is married and has two young children.
Sabina Wyss leads a private coaching and holistic health practice and guides vision quests and other workshops in Europe, Africa, and America. She is a founding partner of Sage Canyon, a Colorado non-profit center for soul- and nature-based learning and consciousness evolution, and as a member of the faculty of CTI she trains new coaches. She stewards the foundation Iferouane, in Niger, to support the culture of the Tuareg.
